TEMI is an acronym for Teaching Enquiry with Mysteries Incorporated. It aims to work with schools across Europe to equip teachers with new resources and methods to teach STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) using scientific mysteries as the starting point.

This is a Professional Learning Community called, Chain Reaction, which is building a network of science teachers to inform developments in the new Junior Cycle science syllabus. Teachers will develop a working, “living” theory of how to better incorporate inquiry based approaches to the teaching, learning and assessment of science which will be used by the NCCA in the development of the new syllabus.
